About SCTV

PT Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is Indonesia's second national private television network—following RCTI—established on August 24, 1990. SCTV initially operated as a local station in Surabaya with limited broadcasting. The company did not obtain a license for national broadcasting until January 1993.
