Back in the present, Xue Ran Ran recovers from her ailments caused by the distance between her and the Reincarnation Tree. After things have been explained to her, she decides to stay on Mount Wester and cultivate in order to be able to survive. However, she emphasizes that she isn't interested in becoming an immortal or transcendence.
