The day of reckoning has come for Remo, Luca, Diego and Ettore. The stakes are high and twofold: on one side, the life of Viola Damiani; on the other, the freedom of Giulia Corsi. But in the meantime, there is no time to waste, the Tenth must solve the case of Simonetta Cerci, a young mother murdered in a barbaric way. A new pain for Luca Benvenuto. Enzo Tiberi, the man who many years before, thanks to boxing, saved him from taking the bad path of crime, has been killed, stabbed. Luca does everything he can to solve the case. But he must also deal with the testimony of Ettore, Balsamo's Mephistophelian right-hand man, and the definitive release of Giulia Corsi.
